Introduction

My name is Reagan.  I am 21 years old.  I am from Petal, MS.  I enjoy traveling.  I have never been out of the country, but I have had the opportunity to go several places in the US.  I enjoy going to museums (not art museums though).  I enjoy hanging out with my family, friends, and boyfriend.

 I attended Jones County Junior College before I came to USM.  I am junior (should be a senior) majoring in elementary education.  My endorsements are history and science.  My career goal is to eventually get my masters degree and teach at a junior college or possibly be a school administrator.  I am not sure what I would like to get my masters degree in yet, but I will figure that out once I begin teaching.

I am not great with technology, and I get easily frustrated with it.  I have basic computer skills, and I can do anything I need to do for school or leisure.  I'm not good with basic maintenance, installing item, etc.  I am also not great with sifting through information on the Internet to find exactly what I need.  Even though I am not great with computers, I do believe it is important to use them in the classroom.  I believe students need the opportunity to spend as much time as possible doing research and project on the computer so they can learn how to use technology.  I also believe by allowing students to do projects and find their own information they can gain more independence and take more pride in learning.
